PROVINCIAL CHILD CARE SUBSIDY INFORMATION MADE SIMPLE
We believe that all families deserve access to quality childcare; so, with that in mind, all Red Deer Child Care programs accept subsidy. The process is facilitated through the Government of Alberta and depends on several factors specific to the family unit.
DETERMINING ELIGIBILITY
Eligible families can apply for subsidy provided they participate in a program that is licensed and approved by the governing agency. The subsidy program helps many families of different incomes and personal situations every year. You can estimate subsidy amounts with the online tool found here. Subsidy is available for each of our programs. Find out more about eligibility here.

APPLYING FOR SUBSIDY
Provincial subsidy applications may be completed online and must be submitted concurrently with the Consent Applicant Declaration and Acknowledgement form. Learn more about the application process.
HOW IT WORKS
Once the child is registered in the program, and subsidy is approved through the governing agency, the subsidized portion is provided directly to Red Deer Child Care. Parents are responsible for issuing the remainder of the payment directly to the childcare facility.
